Leon Camier has done it again for Honda setting a blistering pace at the World Superbike test in Portimão.
After an extremely successful test at Jerez last week that saw Camier as the third fastest World Superbike rider, and set the fourth fastest time of the day, Camier has only gone and done it again. Mixing it with front runners yet again at Portimao today.
Although positive after his success at Jerez, Camier pointed out to worldsbk.com that “to keep improving is the hard part”. Well, it seems that is exactly what Camier has done exactly that at Portimao today.
Although Jonathan Rea topped the timesheets with a 1:41.485, Camier followed closely in 2nd, with only a 0.138 gap to the reigning world champion.
Camier already expressed he wishes to be pushing podiums come the start of the season, and at the moment he is definetly going in the right direction.
